How many miles on your car? Do the intake valves need to be cleaned?
If so, I would recommend spending the money on:
$300 intake valve cleaning
$240 coils & spark plugs
$400 5" FMIC
$180 chargpipe
Then run MHD stage 2+. This would require an Android device and a DCAN cable, both can be had for ~$100. You would then need the MHD license + map, which would be another $150 I believe. So total MHD tune=$250.
This totals to $1370. Add BMS dual cone intakes for $95 and you're at your budget. From there, set aside some money for when things go wrong. Water pump replacement is $450, and that's if you're doing the work yourself!
