I want to do an EGR delete. Please can someone clarify if i need to plug the pipes going into and out of the EGR cooler itself. I will be putting in a plate like the one shown in the link below at the exhaust manifold side but after speaking to a local tuner, he said i need to leave the EGR cooler as it is otherwise, plugging it will cause problems.

steer clear of that tuner...coolers can fail and can hydraulic your engine ..join this group
