nope,,a paper filter is way better at filtering,i posted a very good explanation to this a few weeks ago for someone who questioned me about facts of this.a foam filter is a little better at air flow,,but as has just been said..air flow is ample with standard air box.unless going silly silly power with new injectors/ic/turbo etc etc
