they used to be for $20 in my E46

Technology. You can probably find some tune up kits on line that would be cheaper than dealer prices.

3. Do I need to change differential oil given my milage? never changed

I would..... but I am not quite sure if BMW recommends it. Read your service manual.

4. Sometimes while driving slowly in crowded areas, the Gear nocks when it changes gear from 2ed to 3rd, as if it through the gears hard not smooth

I'm so much worried from this, a bmw auto tranny is just shit since my E36, and very costly

what can i do to inspect it before it fails on me?

oil? filter? renewal? - what about LIFETIME TERM USED LATELLY BY BMW
