All of the sensors are at the bottom and it looks like the pedal is floating with only half a back stop. I just finished installing my pedals, (pain in the neck) and I was a little bit concerned when I saw the new gas one.
In my case I own a oct 09' 335i and it came with the small support gas pedal. I bought my new ones from BMW Bloomfield NJ, and the gas pedal is considerably large but it fits like a glove. Turn on the car and responds just fine.
So are we talking about the same thing? and most of all... It should work just fine , right?
