The V6 in the Genesis is far better suited to daily driving. The 3.7 is insanely peaky by comparison.

I didn't see the bore or stroke of either motor, piston speeds, rod angles/ratios, flow of the intake/exhaust manifolds would all help to explain the differences between the two.
