I heard it's cheaper if you buy the extended options when you buy your car but I could be wrong...Unless you like to work on your car or know how to fix it the extended warranty is worth it because everytime the "Check Engine" light goes on, BMW dealer will charge you around $240 just to diagnose the "Check Engine" light.
