Okay, so running an NBT screen (APIX1) with an EVO HU, needs a BUCK regulator. So looks like I bought the correct one. I'll have to return the boost regulator then.
How is your regulator working? Has it been reliable? Or did you purchase yours from CarSystems? |
The Car Systems ones are not that good. I would buy a 10 pack of buck converters on Amazon for $10 and solder it inline. Also I think the screen gets straight car power. I got over 13v with my evo on my test bench.
