I am amazed what I read on these forums. Anyway, to the original poster - I have used a California Duster for years. The same duster for several brands of cars from Infiniti to BMW to Porsche. It works well. I might suggest that you use it to lightly dust off your car. Second, apply a little detailer spray, Speed Shine, or Spray Wax and wipe/polish with a microfiber or cotton towel (with the hems removed).

If you have a black car (I've had several) it will be almost impossible to keep it clean/shinny.

If you manage to create towel marks, swirls, micro-scratches, etc. you can easily remove them with a wash, clay, polish and a little more wax.
