If the CDV on the manual cars is any indication of how the BMW engineers are thinking about the cars, I'd be VERY reluctant to launch one of these without a remapped transmission.
You may want to talk to the guys playing with the transmission tunes to see what the 1st and 2nd gear clutch engagement is programmed to do before you tear your auto up like that.
