As long as the warranty covers the major components of the car and all the expensive parts to replace I'd go with the cheaper one.
The devil is usually in the small print, it might be easier to compare them by seeing what they don't cover rather than what they do.

You say £24 per month - is that with £250 excess?
I just extended my AUC car - 330d 50k... £34 a month fully comp with £100 excess!
