no brake bite, poor pedal bite, pressure feels weak/ braking power no good.
Pedal doesnt feel spongy you just have to push really hard on brakes now to get sufficient response.. like what happens when discs are wet & you it brakes
I am a bit concerned.. any ideas what the issue could be?
I have new discs but still kept the original pads that were in the calipers for now ..so maybe this uneven connection is a problem till they bed in.
but I didnt expect it to be this poor .
I am also wondering if air in the abs unit would cause this?
Brakes bleed seemed to go ok so I wanted to get some feedback asap.
hopefully a solution comes soon
How did you bleed the system after? Pressure bleeder at least? Did you also use a scanner to activate the DSC pump and valves?

If the pedal travel/stroke is similar to stock but the pedal is hard to press to achieve the same stroke, you have vacuum supply issue.
If the stroke is similar to stock and the foot pressure required is similar to stock but brakes are weak like you say, I think you just need to bed them in properly.
Since you fitted used pads to new discs, this will take even longer.

I suggest new pads and bedding properly if you are 100% confident in your bleeding procedure.
