Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 - loud?

Is anyone here running Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires? (why are tire models so invariably long anyway?) I have about 100 miles on them and they seem just as loud as my old worn out BFGs that they replaced. I'm curious if I need to investigate farther (wheel bearing? that's what it sounds like) or if these are just loud tires. There's a brief mention of noise on Tire Rack's road test but not enough to really tell me whether what I'm hearing is normal or not.

BTW I am running 245/40-17 square on Style 157s which were originally supposed to be my winter wheels but I gave up on 19s, I just couldn't keep tires on them and 17s really are much more practical on the roads around here (metro DC area) I actually like this combination, I think the wheel/tire package is lighter than stock Style 230s. I kind of don't like that I'm giving up 10mm tread width in the back from the stock tires, but I've been told I can't run 255s in front without suspension mods. For most tires I would need wider wheels as well which means aftermarket/spending money.
