i can understand that if there's no evidence then there's nothing they can do... but i called later that day for an update and they simply said 'we closed this case due to insufficient evidence'... litterally 12 hours later... i called up the CCTV people to enquire and they said the police had a visit but didnt go through the footage... i asked if i could but apparently i'm not allowed to... i just have the feeling they didn't really try their hardest because it's a material possession...
