I still think that the OT stuff needs put in a sub-section and kept separate from the more relevant stuff. Lets look at the facts - on the main UK page it shows 36 threads, but a week or so ago I remember replying to a thread relating to redE93cab's car and the fact it was suppose to be having its idle speed increased!!! I have no idea where that thread has gone because there are a lot more (irrelevant) threads on top of that. I personally would like to go back to that thread and possibly read what the outcome was, as I think that sort of info is
relevant to the forum. Its pretty much impossible to do that (without searching... and I'm too lazy to do that) because of the increase in the number of irrelevant threads being created. I have nothing whatsoever against OT threads, but they definitely do need separated away from the more relevant topics.
