If that works, I'm good. If it doesn't, I'm not sure what else to try except the whole Euro retrofit kit but that seems like extreme overkill for what I already appear to have installed.

How can I confirm if I have the same luck as you? My car is 06 325xi with zsp, premium, seat memory. I don't have the cold weather package nor have I ever done a seat swap.
I've read this entire thread. For those of you have ordered the retrofit kit from roveractive. How did you managed to install the heating element in the seats? Did you rip out the leather on your own or have it professionally installed? Thanks
