Megan, I'm right there with you the whole drive thing. my backyard is butted up along the Warwick river (i.e. Ft. Eustis) so it takes me the same time to get to Va. Beach as it does Richmond. :P You're no longer the only one calling the peninsula home.
If you guys say the NC loop is fun, i'm down. I'll pray for inclement weather for the 11th. 
Colonial parkway is nice, the nickel/dime loop is pretty leisurely (Rt.10 to the ferry, Rt. 5 back) with some long sweepers and light traffic. not too much twisty stuff around here. |
There is now a good number of peninsula members... thank goodness.. I was getting tired of these lonely drives to the beach.. haha. Welcome! Hope to see you out for the next meet!
