Please tell me this is NOT the noise you were talking about. This is the noise that I heard when I lifted my hood up. It lasted for about 15seconds during cold start. No idea if it still exists. I could never hear it without opening the hood (ie. not in the cabin, and not standing outside the car while it was on).
