Welp, I hate to say it but this past Saturday the car would not start at all. Scanned for codes and got nothing but " Microphone; open circuit". Decided to have it towed to BMW 4 miles away. The diagnosis was a blown engine. They said the timing chain skipped and the engine started knocking when they got the car started.
Really do not know where to go from here being the car is out of warranty but awaiting a final decision from the service department regarding the car.
