couple of decent shouts there, the megane only came up as I was searching in a price range, the cupra and golf are good ideas, though seem to be worth more than a similar age/power renault - im sure I know the reasons for this!
i just want to get something with a bit of poke to run for a year, circa £4-4.5k, but also need to be able to put golf clubs and a trolley in the boot.
for that reason, a clio is out really.
a civic would be a bit '19 year boy racer for me'
maybe an S3, but will have been ragged to death I would think.
e46 is looking the better option, least it wont fall apart. well..............maybe.
