I've had some experience. There's some finessing and a couple tricks to learn as you climb the learning curve, but it's far from impossible. I can help you out if you'd like, or shoot you some tips if you decide to tackle it yourself. 1.5yds should be more than enough.

Having worked with a number of products, I'm really not a fan of the di-noc for the interior. It's great for exterior use though. The fabric I use is a semi-gloss black cf and compliments the rest of the interior very well. No complaints so far
