I guess some were worried about the message sent to either clients or employees about you owning a '£170k car'.....depending on your job circumstances I can see how that may be an issue, however frustrating it may be. its probably a fact that some won't understand your man maths and perhaps draw the wrong conclusions with negative consequences for the perception o your employer.
