No, he was rounding the corner of that large island and heading towards the Eastern Autoport. Check out the map I posted. You can see the very small St. Georges Island and the larger McNabs Island (This tracking isn't a complete waste of time. We do learn some geography.

Here he is parked at the autoport. The yellow arrow means a ship is either docked or traveling less than .5 knots. (Green arrows mean traveling greater than .5 knots and red arrows mean their engines are off or radar signal lost.)
