Yes, IMO must have mod for anyone running catless downpipes. I am not sure whether it's a placebo effect but it seems to have smoothened out my throttle response as well. Could be attributed to the better flow without the secondaries choking it up.
I'd agree. I don't think it placebo effect. You gained maybe 5-10 HP from cutting off the secondary cats. I would agree based on my own experience that the car will accelerate smoother & slightly quicker. I would absolutely attribute this to having less back pressure on the turbos, as a result of cutting off the secondary cats.

A small side benefit to having Catless down pipes and a secondary cat delete is that you should have prolonged the life of your turbos, from not having the back pressure on them anymore.
