my trunk button doesnt work, so I have to use the key everytime. I went and removed the batter and did a complete run through checking all wires and plugs. I notice in this pic that im missing the connector on the right shown in this picture of yours circled in red. I have the left side just dangling around. When I removed the battery, I checked everywhere down there and dont see anything.
Is it a wire connected to the positive terminal and maybe the original owner threw it away when they replaced the batter?
