The ONLY way you will retain a comfortable enough ride quality with lowering is by avoiding springs and going for coilovers with damping adjustability. I have mine lowered on BC coilovers and adjustable damping and you couldn't tell whether you're in an SE, M SPort or a 4x4 (softest setting) lol.

Coilovers are generally much more expensive but not when you compare them to buying upgraded springs and shocks.. at that level, you're already into entry level coilover kits price wise.

Get a drop and buy a decent set of quality wheels (reps or OE) and you're laughing! These are probably the most crucial part of your car so try not to save a few pennies or you may end up regretting later down the line. Those M6 reps look sweet, definitely a winner compared to the other options shown in this thread
