The cabin filter is under that huge plastic below your wipers when you open your hood, they are cheap and easy to replace but to pay the dealer to do it is just absurd. The more expensive one was told to me by the dealer that its for the cars that are equipped with automatic climate control. Don't know why?

Brake fluid should be changed every 2 years or 15K miles. You never want to compromise your safety since brakes is what stops your car, if you don't change it you'll eventually have brake failure.
