I bet it is the filler "necks" themselves that prevent slipping through the sandwich. The funny thing is i thought it was inboard of the white plastic under structure that item 2 is. Removing the clamps will be simple enough for the large hoses but the skinny vent hoses go on in further. I guess those are the ones that get "snipped". My DEF filler is getting a vasectomy I suppose.
