AAA Texas:

"Towing Service When a vehicle cannot be started or safely driven, the vehicle can be towed to the independent service provider’s facility, no matter how far away, at no charge to the member. Not all independent service providers provide repairs at their facility. If you choose to have the vehicle towed to a location other than the independent service providers facility:
  • AAA Premier — Receive one (1) service call per household per membership year for a tow up to 200 driving miles (excludes RVs and motorcycles), and the remaining service calls up to 100 driving miles per member per membership year. AAA Premier towing may be subject to a delay.
  • AAA Plus — Receive four (4) service calls per member per membership year for tows up to 100 driving miles. AAA Plus towing may be subject to a delay.
  • Classic — Receive four (4) service calls per member per membership year, up to 3 driving miles for each tow.
For calls outside of Texas, AAA Premier members may need to pay for towing miles between 100 and 200 miles, and submit a request for reimbursement. Reimbursement requests must be submitted within 60 days of the tow.
A member must be present when the vehicle is delivered to a closed repair facility. Towing beyond the benefits described above is at the member's expense and may be subject to delay.
