2. When you have the car jacked up, check the wheel bearing. All you have to do is move the wheel around to see if there's any play without having to use force to move the steering wheel.

Bonus: While you have your wheels off check the tie rods and end links as well.

Didn't spot this reply on page two. Embarrassing!

I've tried my winter wheels as well (17 inch OE wheels). No difference. :-( Air pressure was checked and doubled checked on both sets of wheels.

Rear wheels doesn't work on the front btw (19 inch Oceans) - seems like 9.5x19" is too much to fit in the front.
