Miami is great for a couple of nights - long enough to see a few sights and get the atmosphere.

Ocean Drive has to be seen - go in the morning and have breakfast at The News Cafe and people watch. Then go back in the evening to experience the "cruise" and see the sights at the bars....

Lincoln Road has the best selection of restaurants, bars and clubs.

Go to The Delano on Collins - Madonna's little hotel.

Go to Coconut Grove for a change from the full-on Miami Beach area.

Don't miss the trompe l'oiel (!) on the Fontainbleau Hilton, Collins Avenue - upscale shopping there if you want.

Go on the Duck Tour - yes its touristy, but it gives you a good tour of the area, including some of the waterfront homes, and its fun.

If you have time go out to the edge of The Everglades and have an airboat trip.
