There are massive holes in them near the rear end of the car. After replacing the clutch/DMF we used big washers and stuff to fix it up a bit but when started driving there was a lot of noise that turned out to be the heatshields banging up and down. I had a mechanic look at it and he bent them somewhat to stop the noise. But I'm thinking of sourcing second hand ones but in good condition off eBay and trying to do the job properly.
