I see what you mean. At 5500 RPM all I hear is the rasp, which isn't bad in itself tho.

But in terms of actual Db increase, will it make the whole system louder?

You said your pops were louder right?
Pops were noticeably louder and just overall, the system is louder compared to just having downpipes.
