Coolest thing I've ever seen in NJ was on the Turnpike. About 25 years ago I was going south, returning from NYC. A VW Golf GTI went blowing by traffic in the center section. We were all pacing NJ Trooper in the truck lanes. So the Golf goes blasting by everyone. Not sure if he saw the Statie in the truck lanes or not. At the next gap in the Jersey wall the officer smoothly and at speed (70 MPH), just glided right through the opening in the wall and lit the Golf up and pulled him over. Most beautiful move of driving I've ever seen by a LEO.
