Trying to resolve rubbish DAB reception and was wondering if this would work?

For some background, I have an aftermarket android unit installed with a USB DAB module. I have tried the glass mount antenna which is really bad. So I have fed an extension to the rear near my current sharkfin but that only has a pink GPS connection. So if I changed it for the above, would I get full DAB reception?
