This is the first time I heard weight being a factor in an intercooler purchase which is designed to cool air not reduce weight.... Why not instead purchase some carbon fiber parts and purchase an intercooler based on cooling efficiency?
To the threadstarter, this subject has been beaten to death. Perhaps you need to look around because there are many intercoolers that work great. It just depends on what your looking for out of them.
I could perhaps shed some more light if you want to PM me, but I need to know your budget, if you plan on modifying your vehicle, keeping your stock charge pipes, and all that jazz.
