Lovin' this site, looks like a good community. As per my hello in the newbies section, picked up my E92 320i LCI Le Mans Blue on Monday... really enjoying it so far.
The 'minor' mod
Noticed when I got the car the front plate was screwed on to the bumper at the top corners... why, I don't know. I have a 5 digit plate and have the smaller length plates (
yes they are legal) but the holes were going to cause a problem.
I ordered the following from Fleabay

I then used wet dry sandpaper and keyed the face.
Then sprayed a few coats of Le Mans Blue spray paint and clear coat.
Then widened the drilled holes on bumper to 6mm and pushed in the now painted clip.
Ended up like this, pretty happy with the finish and looks no worse than the parking sensor TBH.
Also sprayed the tax disc holder to match while i was at it
Also got rear lip to fit
