I'm using the L3SEs in the doors and center and they work great. I've got them crossed over at 160Hz and they do it without any complaints. Based on my experiences, I'm therefore sure the carbons will sound great.
Regarding the tweeter, the door sail locations scream for more laid-back silk dome tweeters and the L1V1s fit the bill. However, it's "only" a 3/4" tweeter, compared to most others in that size range being 1" or larger. I'm using Rainbow Cal-25s with the Rainbow passives and they sound great. Based on what I've heard, Morel MT-22 and MT-23s will also work great. No need to go Hybrid on the tweeter, and there are lots of choices out there.
