Thanks for that !!! I've had a few things go wrong. Once the car wouldn't unlock with my key so I grabbed the other key and it worked fine. Once the idrive screen would start up, so I just restarted the car and it was fine.
A few times the car would drop revs to around 600k and either die or revert to neutral and rev hard to round 1100 - 1200. Took it to BMW and they said they " updated the software" and it hasn't done it since.
apart from that it has been a gem, also got some coding done to it, like the i accept screen removal, seat belt chime, and the annoying gong sound when you start the car. |
You had that gear drop to Neutral issue as well? I'm facing the same issue and it even stalled once! Any idea what 'software' they updated?
