Sorry for this late reply, but I just bought a second hand performance exhaust and was wondering how you knew where to cut the original exhaust?

You measure the pipes on the PE exhaust & make that the measurement you use to mark the existing exhaust where to cut.

You can score the exhaust pipes with a chain like exhaust pipe cutter. They don't work very well at all on a SS exhaust, but they will do a good job of scoring the pipe.

You'll need a sawzall with a carbon tipped metal blade. Diablo makes the best. You can get them at Home Depo. It will be like a hot knife through butter.

Make sure you have the right exhaust clamps. A transmission type jack works best for supporting the exhaust. Or take a 2 x 4 and a regular jack.
