Basically, between early 2000 and earliy 2003 I worked for an IT consulting company that was part of the BMW group so was able to make use of the BMW Management car scheme - under which we had to hand the car back before 10k miles or 9 months, whichever came first. When I left there, the next company I worked for forced me to use up one of their existing unallocated lease cars (hence the terrible Volvo) and then I ordered the Saab.
Looking forward to returning back to a BMW though
