The supplier is stating...
'Based on BMW database this will not fit as the OEM in your vehicle is different from this one. We sell parts based on vehicle specs. You may purchase this item if you will insist but we cannot guarantee this will work on your vehicle and the item cannot be returned if it does not fit.'
i'm with you on the fact that it'll probably do the job, but just checking that the car model shouldn't matter...?
