Thanks for confirming Casper, hope you don't think I was trying to say you were gouging by my comment, I just reread it and it seems that it could be taken that way but I didn't mean it like that at all... the shock sensor is cheap but not having to source the parts for the pnp harness and then assemble and test it is worth it.
One question - if that is the way your shock sensor was installed, does it get disabled if you disable the motion sensor by hitting the lock button twice? I've seen conflicting info; what I want to avoid is the inadvertent setting off of the alarm by getting something out of the trunk while the car is locked.
