Funny really.
Its all relative.
I have the 118D and a tuned 335i.
As Mega rightly says the 318DES is far cheaper to buy/run/tax/insure/BIK than a 320D.
Its 147BHP. My long term 2yr combined average is 60mpg. On a run its 70mpg plus.
I recall thinking our old 1998 A3T was nippy at 150BHP. Remember those days?
And you should see the stats on the new 118D, and even the petrols. Incredible...
I was going to box the 318D to see if the economy could be streetched further too.
