I doubt it has anythign to do with the brake lines. You should really look at running HP+ or better pads in general. 5.0 is a street pad comparable to OEM but with more initial bite/torque.

Reality is that you probably need to vent the brakes somehow if you are getting pads that hot. Add some ducts, bend the heat shields back, etc.
