Wheels (and car) look great just the way they are. Copper could be good as long as you don't go so dark they disappear. Or a gloss gray, but I wouldn't go much darker than the attached picture.

Please don't ruin those wheels by PCing them black. I don't know why people keep doing this.

But that's just, like, my opinion, man.
