You have to wedge a flat head between the body of the connector and latch then pull up. You definitely need an extra set of hands to get the valve cover off. After removing the strut bar seal bracket that's on the firewall, you have to bend the firewall back and maneuver the cover off just like Vespa mentioned.
I haven't installed my JB4 back on. I wanted to put my new plugs in, but with the cylinder head being cold it wasn’t breaking loose as easily as I wanted to. I’ll chime back in this weekend.
