E9X cars can now be found in junkyards which means cheap parts.
My price list:
CCC(Defective) and CID: $61
Replacment CCC: $130
Knob: $45
Center Console Trim: $40 (Worn, will replace)
Dash: $61
AC Trim: $5
Cooling Hose: Came with CCC
CID Harness: Came with CID
CID Display Cable: Came with CID
Head Unit Trim: $30
Screws: $5
20g Wire: $7 (Should have just cut some wire from junkyard car for free)
Crimp Connectors: $7
OEM wire with pins: $25 (Should have just cut some wire from junkyard car for free)
Coding: FREE
25 pack of DVD-R to burn the 2015 map pack on: $4 (PM me for iso)
Total cost:
$420
If the junkyard car had all of the bits I needed it would have been sub $250 easily
Optional Extras:
Sat Radio Box: $40 (I didn't buy this, but is a direct plugin with coding)
eBay Bluetooth box: $140 (Already had from pro radio)

If I had all of the parts when I started the DIY it would have taken a full Saturday. It really wasn't that hard to do any of the DIY. As long as you take your time and work neatly.

I take nothing away from all your hard work you put into this but why didn't just put in the CIC system?
