M3 has peakier power delivery and on average at slow speeds the applied power to the ground is not much different between 335i and e46 M3. At high speeds M3 can deploy its high hp on the dynocurve constantly, because the higher gears are more close to each other. However, I would think that e92 335 is slightly more aerodynamic which should compensate this in high speeds. That's why I'm interested if there is a real data from high speeds or if this just a feeling of being faster.
