You can me to the list of successful IM swappers. I started to develop issues with my starter at 70k on my 328xi 6mt, so no better time to swap manifolds. I picked up a 3 stage manifold from an n51 with disas for $175. Unfortunately the large disa had more play than I would have liked, so I ended up buying the rebuild kits for both disas. I took me roughly 5 hours total to swap manifolds and replace the starter. The job is very well documented, and much easier than I had thought.
I drove the car for a week on the stock tine with no issues, and flashed the 330i tune this past weekend. Using the batch files that hass and bimmerlabs provided couldn't be easier. That being said, I was still a little nervous flashing the MSV80.
As a side note, I read some conflicting accounts of resetting adaptations via INPA, is that worthwhile? I would assume flashing a tune would clear everything.
